About
Hello! My name is Stephanie Denardo, and I received a PhD in Political Science, International Relations at the University of Florida in 2025. My research combines my experience in journalism with feminist perspectives to investigate constructions of power and order in the global system. My research focuses primarily on feminist IR theory, theories of IR, historical political sociology, and archival research methodologies.
I teach the introductory course to IR, Theories of International Relations, Gender and International Relations, as well as Politics of the World Economy in the department of Political Science at UF. I also served as the International Relations Editorial Assistant at Perspectives on Politics, Cambridge University Press, from 2019 to 2023. I served as an editorial assistant for Review of International Political Economy from 2023-2024. In addition, I was the Director of the Junior Fellowship Program in Political Science at the University of Florida, as well as an Undergraduate Advisor in the Department of Political Science 2018-2019.
